Fourth round of the 2026 Superbike World Championship, fourth sweep for Nicolò Bulega. At Balaton Park the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati rider claimed pole, Race 1, the Superpole Race and Race 2, rewriting the championship record book in the process.

In Superpole he claimed his fifth consecutive pole and fourth of 2026 with a 1:38.094 lap, smashing the all-time circuit record. In Race 1 he led every lap to take his 14th consecutive victory, breaking the previous record of 13 consecutive wins held by Toprak Razgatlıoğlu. In the Superpole Race, restarted after a red flag, he beat Iker Lecuona by 0.894 seconds across eight laps. In Race 2 he controlled the race to the flag, finishing 2.557 seconds ahead of Lecuona, with Yari Montella third.

The numbers from a historic weekend: fourth seasonal hat-trick (the fifth counting Jerez 2025), 16 consecutive wins, 12 wins from 12 races in 2026 — the best ever start to a season in WorldSBK history. The 25th consecutive podium equals the all-time record held by Toprak Razgatlıoğlu and Colin Edwards, while his 32nd career win takes him into the all-time top-ten, level with Chaz Davies.

"It's fantastic, I'm very proud to do it with Ducati", Bulega's comment at the end of the weekend.

In the championship standings Nicolò moves up to 248 points, with an 82-point lead over team-mate Lecuona. No rest: the day after Balaton, on Monday, he was already on board the Ducati MotoGP 2027 for a test day at Mugello. The march towards the title is unstoppable.
