Assen, Netherlands
The TT Circuit in Assen proved once again to be a happy hunting ground for Nicolò Bulega. At the third round of the 2026 Superbike World Championship, the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati rider completed another perfect sweep, winning Race 1, the Superpole Race, and Race 2.
In Race 1, despite a rain scare, Bulega overcame team-mate Iker Lecuona, with Sam Lowes completing the podium. In the Superpole Race he led from start to finish, crossing the line 1.742 seconds ahead of Lecuona, with Lowes again third. Race 2 followed the same script: a ninth win from nine races in 2026, with Lecuona second and Lowes third.
This perfect weekend takes Nicolò to 13 consecutive victories, a streak that began at Race 2 at Estoril in 2025, equalling the record set by Toprak Razgatlıoğlu.
"The era of Bulega sounds good. I think we're in a good era right now. I can ride my bike well because my team is listening to my feedback, which is allowing us to improve session by session. This is the result of hard work from me, and from Ducati", Bulega declared at the end of the weekend.
Nine races, nine wins. Nicolò leads the championship standings by a crushing margin, aiming squarely at the 2026 Superbike World Championship title.
